Over the weekend, I participated in Beauty Escape's "Ultimate Girls Day Out" event at the Loew's Atlanta Hotel in the heart of Midtown. Ladies were able to come to me for consultations, tips and tricks and then visit other vendors such for massages, reflexology, skincare and shopping. Who doesn't love that?! Check out Lace On-Locations spread at this little shindig.
Not a shabby view from my makeup station. I love Atlanta.
Everywhere you turned, there were artists popping out faces left and right which made everyone at this event look fab-u-lous!
Of course, I couldn't leave this fine establishment without striking a pose in front of the step and repeat.
Here is a picture taken by ATL Red Carpet of myself (left) and makeup artist Sarah Horowitz (right) who was the cute little nugget sharing a table with me.
I look forward to working this event again soon! Always keep an eye on our blog to see what and where the next great event will be.

Bridal Show Success
When I was contacted by The Historic Academy of Medicine at Georgia Tech and asked to do makeup for their annual "Something Old, Something New" bridal event, I obviously said "YES" immediately. This is a beautiful building that Georgia Tech purchased a few years ago and recently renovated. The entire building inside and out is stunning and makes for the perfect location for an elegant wedding.
The "Something Old, Something New" bridal show is a free event that features dozens of vendors in the Atlanta area who cater to weddings and special events. We had models walking around the venue all night wearing wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses and tuxedos as well as hair and makeup so attendees could get a better idea of what we had to offer. I provided makeup for all of our beautiful models and was stationed in the VIP room to talk to soon-to-be brides and event planners about Lace On-Location.
Here is a set up on the front lawn for an outdoor option. If you ever want to get married in the middle of Midtown, this venue is located at West Peachtree and 7th Street in Atlanta.
Thanks to great determinations, love of what I do and a few prescription meds from my local Urgent Care doctor, I was able to do hours of makeup even though I had a pinched nerve in my back. You would never be able to tell from this picture but a few hours before, I couldn't even raise my arm higher than my waist! Not an ideal scenario but I always get the job done :)
Wish I could tell you that I snapped more pics but between doing makeup and talking to brides, there was just no time. BUT, I will be receiving professional photographs from the venue which will include head shots of all of our beautiful models! I cannot wait to see and share them. Stay tuned...

Bella Rene Fashion Show
Last night I had the honor of attending the Bella Rene Fashion Show for their Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Bella Rene is an amazing line of clothing created for full figured women. There are not enough lines out there that target this demographic and designer Kenyatta Jones has burst into the scene with fresh new looks, patterns and personality. Kenyatta will soon be a household name so make sure you follow Bella Rene on Facebook and Twitter!
Here is my photo diary from the show:
After showing up at Aurum Lounge in Midtown Atlanta, I ran into a few of my girlfriends. I immediately got that Beyonce song stuck in my head.. Who run the world? Girls. GIRLS!
Here she is doing her finale walk. GO KENYATTA (she's on the right)!!!
Hmmmm....seems like a good duo. Designer...Makeup Artist....*wink*
